The NWSA Open House is scheduled for September 14, at 5:45 PM.
The first PTSA meeting of the year was held on August 31, preceded by a Booster Club Workshop.
The schedule of PTSA meetings was distributed.
The focus of discussion was the role of Booster Clubs to support the strands. Starting this year, the PTSA will concern itself only with high school activities shared by all strands. Activities specific to a strand will be supported by the strand’s Booster Club, or clubs. Information about starting Booster Clubs was distributed.
Please contact the PTSA President if you are interested in starting a Booster Club, but did not get the information that was provided at this meeting.
Also at this meeting, an appeal was made for a volunteer to help with the PTSA newsletter. Please contact the PTSA President if you would like to volunteer.
Welcome to new students, and welcome back to returning students.
